ST. JOHN’S, Antigua -The Development Control Authority – DCA- has installed a chain at the entrance to Pearns Point.
This has been confirmed by DCA Chairman, Leon “Chakku” Symister who stressed that the issue of access to the beaches is now dead.
He explained that the chain, to be controlled by the Environmental Department, is to prevent the illegal sand-mining taking place.
