Junior Customs officer Ian Chapman of Villa has been slapped with three drug-related charges after he was caught with cannabis at the VC Bird International Airport.

The officer is set to appear in the All Saints Magistrates Court to face charges of possession, possession with intent to supply and importation of 13 and 3/4 pounds of cannabis.

Reports are that on June 5, Chapman went to the airport to receive a package for someone and during the routine customs check of luggage, the illegal substance was discovered in the wrapped brown package.
