St. John’s Antigua- Businesses, companies and even a group of individuals wishing to support Antigua & Barbuda’s Benna Boys as a single unit when they take on Jamaica here on Tuesday can do so in style through the purchasing of a corporate box or boxes at Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Grounds.
This is according to Petra Williams who heads the committee charged with overseeing the renting of the corporate boxes, dubbed Benna Boxes, which range between EC $4,320 and EC $6,000.
“We have put together some packages which would allow patrons to have a little more than the ordinary experience when watching the games,” she said.
“It includes drinks and you have various packages which starts from the lower end package which includes just juice beverages and water and it goes as high as where you can have your premium drinks all from the pouring rights provider and you will also have snacks from the bottom tier right up to almost a full meal at the top tier.”
The boxes, according to Williams, will also come equipped with TV screens for viewing the game, a private server, Benna Boys paraphernalia and 15 entrance tickets.
The corporate spaces, she added, will be limited to only 15 persons and will be available from 3 pm on the day of the fixture.
“If you get there from 3 pm you will have access to food and drinks from the time you get into the box until the game is finished. It provides a different atmosphere and it is being marketed mainly to corporate companies which might want to fete their staff, fete their executives and maybe fete their customers, reward loyalty and those kind of things,” she said.
“We have also had interest shown from groups of people who want to just come and don’t have to worry about buying anything and don’t have to move around and that kind of stuff,” Williams added.
The renting of the boxes according to Williams is however not limited to companies and businesses as a group of friends or non-profit organisations could also secure one of the spots.
Those wishing to secure their boxes may call Williams at 464-7218.
The Antigua & Barbuda senior national team, the Benna Boys, will take on Jamaica’s Reggae Boys in the second match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Semi-final Round on Tuesday at Sir Viv Grounds.
