St. John’s Antigua- ChantMan, vocalist, songwriter, guitarist, and music entrepreneur, continues to pursue his venture as a recording artist with the recent release of his latest song Standing Firm.
The fervent, chant-like lyrics were recorded to Head Concussion Records’ composition Love Salute Riddim.
The music video created by Akeem Lowe of Dominica and Ed Francis was shot in St John’s. When ChantMan decided he wanted to create a visual representation of the song, he knew exactly who could help turn his vision for the music video into reality. He embraced the idea of a lyric video in order to allow viewers to fully absorb the positive and motivational message in the song.
When asked about the birth and progression of the Standing Firm music video, ChantMan replied, *“the hook made me feel so powerful. After I got the hook I was like yeah, I need to share this message with the world.”
With soon-to-be debuts on Antigua & Barbuda’s local television broadcast stations, coupled with the official launch via YouTube, this artist is definitely on the proper track to worldwide recognition.
In addition to the release of his new single, the new ChantMan website went live on April 14. The launch of the new website, which offers quick and easy access to essential information on the artiste, is part of his ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of not only his music but also information to fans and the world. Fans can check out the website now at www.chantman.com
In collaborating with and seeing the struggle of other up-and-coming artists of his generation from the Caribbean, ChantMan is determined to succeed; not for himself, but for the entire region. He feels with his own success, he can lay down the foundation to help other up-and-coming artists reach success as well.
As part of the founding members of Lionheart Records of Dominica, ChantMan is working unrelentingly until the world knows his name, his music, and the paradise of the West Indies, which he calls home.
