St. John’s Antigua- Secondary and college students looking at their options for schooling are invited to a seminar next Thursday sponsored by John Harris, Centennial College and CCSET International. It will be held from 1 pm to 2:30 pm at Deluxe Cinema.
At the event, CCSET will conduct a drawing to award a laptop and a smart phone to attending students. Students can get tickets from Deluxe Cinemas, a sponsor of the event, from their school or by calling 720-3212.
Centennial’s accounting courses are accepted by both Certified General Accountants (CGA) Ontario and CGA Caribbean. CGA holds a reciprocal agreement with ACCA, so graduates can transfer their accounting certification seamlessly when required.
Students who attend the seminar will learn about how students can be a part of the Canadian education system; qualify to attend Centennial; work and study at the same time; complete CGA certifications; and work in Canada after graduation.
In this town hall style meeting, students who bring the appropriate documentation can be accepted directly into the programme as academic advisors will be on hand. Parents should accompany students if they wish to find out more.
Centennial College is Toronto, Ontario’s first community college. It offers 4-year degree programmes in Computer and Communications Networks and Software Systems Design. It also offers shorter-term graduate certificates in Business; Community and Health Studies; Communications, Media and Design; Hospitality, Tourism and Culture; and Engineering Technology and Applied Science.
To register please contact CCSET Centennial, 764-3212, email brent@ccset.net.
