ST. JOHN’S, Antigua -Barbuda Senator, McKenzie Frank has called for the legislation governing the Barbuda Council to be reformed so the body does not require central government to approve policies promoted during election campaigns on the sister isle.
He has also suggested that elections for the Council be held every four years instead of the current two so there is greater some level of continuity.
Senator Frank was speaking during a panel discussion that examined the challenges facing Barbuda.
