Bolivian official seeks PM’s support

Bolivian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Joan Cralos Aluralde met with PM Baldwin Spencer on Friday

St. John’s Antigua- Juan Carlos Aluralde, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Bolivia, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer last week as part of a sub-regional tour of countries to obtain support for a draft deceleration to be presented to Organization of American States (OAS) General Assembly.

The Bolivarian foreign Minister was seeking support for a draft declaration on “Food security with sovereignty in the Americas,” which seeks to highlight food and nutritional security to be promoted in harmony with nature.

Responding to the Bolivarian Foreign Minister, Prime Minister Spencer stated that Antigua & Barbuda will examine the draft declaration through its Permanent Representative to the OAS in Washington.

The OAS General Assembly will be held in Cochabamba, Bolivia, from June 3 to 5.
