ST. JOHN’S, Antigua – Representatives of the developer of a multi-million dollar gated community at Pearns Point say the dispute over beach access has been resolved.
This follows a meeting yesterday chaired by Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer after the gate was dismantled by Minister of State in the Ministry of Agriculture Chandler Codrington.
Gaye Hechme, who represents Orange limited, the company spearheading the project, says the meeting resolved the issue.
She maintains that it wasn’t the developer’s intention to deny the public access to the beach.
