St. John’s Antigua- Barbershop Boys United has captured the Willikies Community Football Soccerama title on Sunday.

United played unbeaten and defeated the American University of Antigua football team 2-0 on penalties in the final.

Sanjay of the American University team captured the Most Valuable Player of the tournament award. Elroy “Blueteck” Joseph was voted as the Best Goalkeeper.

A total of 11 teams took part in the competition. They are American University of Antigua, Young Warriors, Glanvilles, Pares, Parham Youth, Evergreen, Hensley FC, Phoenix Pond, Willikies Youth, Barbershop Boys United and Rocket Construction.

The Willikies league programme is expected to kick off on June 10.
