Dear Editor
I was having lunch at Redcliffe Quay when I heard another police officer has been implicated in a crime. What a disgrace.
How can the public develop the confidence in lawmen that’s badly needed to fight crime?
It was just weeks ago a friend of mine told me she had to call the Defence Force to make a complaint about a soldier who decided to use a cutlass to intimidate a 67-year-old woman. I hear the National Security Minister Dr Errol Cort say the force will be reviewing its recruitment policies. I urge you Dr Cort to make haste — and strengthen your internal investigative unit.
And, Lord have mercy on this twin-island state.
