Please grant me some space in your widely read newspaper to express some sentiments that are begging to be made public.

It was drawn to my attention the large number of under age youths abusing the use of alcohol during the festive season. When this happens they engage in many different kinds of activities, which include fighting and sexual promiscuity.

I am appealing to vendors to be careful who they are selling alcoholic beverages to, so that we can cut down the illegal drinking by under age young people.

I am also asking the authorities to send out a public announcement warning under age youths about drinking alcoholic beverages, since the year is coming to an end, and there will be more fetes.
