Adams wants a broadcast commission

Culture Minister Eleston “Namba” Adams

August 8, 2012, St John’s Antigua – Culture Minister Eleston “Namba” Adams has supported the idea of establishing a broadcast commission.

He is stating his position in light of the controversy created by a Burning Flames song, which has fuelled intense public debate for more than a week.

The call for such a commission was reignited after rights group Women Against Rape started a campaign to have the song Kick Een She Back Doh banned.

 

Adams had been silent all through the debate, but he let the nation know his position Wednesday morning on Observer AM:
