St. John’s Antigua- Two Antigua and Barbuda Athletes have failed to advance in the semi-finals of the 2012 London Olympics in their respective categories.
Afia Charles ran just above her personal best time in the 400 meters qualifying round in the Olympic Stadium this morning, but that time was not good enough.
And Karin Clashing set a personal best entering the 50 meters freestyle qualifying round this morning, but failed to qualify for the semi-finals.
Chef de Mission Neville Fenton says however, this has not affected the moral of the Antigua and Barbuda team.
