There were wins for El Hombre and Swetes in the All Saints Community Football League on Wednesday while Seaview Farm defaulted to former champions Cologne after the team, who were recently promoted to the ABFA’s Premier Division, failed to show for their scheduled encounter.

In the opening contest, El Hombre defeated Young Warriors by a 3-2 margin, with goals coming from Darien Scotland, Jan Mussington and Angis Anthony for the victors. Akeem Buntin and Trevaughn Beckles scored for Warriors.

The victory lifts El Hombre with 11 points while Warriors remain on three points.

Meanwhile, following a scoreless first half, Swetes came to life in the second half to inflict a 5-0 throbbing on Old Stagers to lift their tally of points to 15.

There were double strikes from Lyndon Goodwin and Denfield Thomas while DeVaughn Stephenson netted once. Old Stagers, who are yet to win a match in the competition, remain without a point.

Defending champions Real White continue to head the standings with 27 points while Youth Vibes follow closely with 24 points in second place. Veterans are third with 18 points, Corinthians are fourth with 17 and Cologne fifth with 16.
