Do the three UPP candidates whose seats were declared invalid have enough support to win by-elections if the party loses the appeal?
Spencer and Quinn will definitely win their seats. Not so sure about John Maginley because the man with the Deed is going to spend to broke to get rid of him. Anyway, the final say rests with the man above and not him. Time will tell.
Quinn & Spencer would win but for maginley i am unsure about him, he is somewhat weak that seat can go to either party and max have very deep pockets.
Quinn will be the only incumbent of the three to regain her seat. The people are very dissatisfied with the Prime minister and these efforts to drag out the process are not making him any more popular.
A win by 500 plus votes for both Quinn and Spencer is hard to overtake for any candidate, especially Dean and Gale, two canditates who are accustomed to get their licks. My expectation is that Quinn and Spencer will increase their majority. With work, Maginley will pull through. I dont think ALP really wants by-election but to gain govt through the backdoor. The good thing about this is though, money is going to be spent wild by ALP once again and some people who are now unemployed will get work, pumping some energy into the economy.
Way to go ALP who hab who now????We hab Them!!! Well unless their is another party… but UPP days are done…. People cant forget the million per mile on the road to the so called stadium… that only last for a few weeks. and the romantic rip off event…
We will be back in the high life again…. burn dem…
Bring me John Maginley’s Scalp. That is what the electors are saying in Rural North Red, White and Blue.
On this we are united in the North cant speak about the other Constituencies.
“me bex you know” I assume that you are about 7 years old and you were born on March 13 2004 at least that is what I gather from your statement. Let me remind you as you are too young to remind pre-2004. Those were good days, no world crisis yet ALP could not pay salary. The deep water harbour load to this days is still not paid, Heritage Quay, Royal Antiguan Hotel, the giveaway of our lands to Dato Tan, Robert Vesco, Safarti to name a few. If I was a betting man I would bet that all the present members of the ALP in Parliament and all the past are millionaires and you talking about roads. Ask your Father about the Potholes he constanly fell into with no warning. I cannot be upset with you as you only know what has happen between 2004-2010 and your are still to young to understand what is happenin now. I am really tired of Labour Party supporters always trying to talk for me, please speak for yourself and do no not include me in your blanket statements about what the electors are saying, speak for yourself or should I say let the ALP politicians speak for you.
Quin an baldwin win agin
PERSONALLY, I BELIEVE THAT THE PRIME MINISTER HAS LOST CREDITABILITY OF
THE ELECTORATES AND SOME MEMBERS OF HIS PARTY. HE NEED TO CALL A BY-ELECTION NOW
I believe that the lawyers who filed for the stay of execution are working pro bona (hope it’s spelt correctly) if not simply call a bi-election and prove the point Minister Quinn would win by a land slide again but there is a question mark over over Mininster Maginley and a bigger one over the Prime Minister…, maybe a miracle ….., this is only my opinion
